Tiny on the scale of greatness just finding my place in this world… I was born northeast of New Orleans in Baton Rouge and was raised in the small historic city of Plaquemine, Louisiana on the banks of the Mississippi River. Some of my inspiration is from those muddy waters, but my grandmother inspired the soul of my music. She motivated me with her passionate love of music and the joy of seeing it touch people’s lives. As my music journey started at four years old, I traveled from small beginnings at talent shows and hometown events to writing my own music and sharing it with the world beginning with this album.

In 2015, I had the distinct honor of teaming up with legendary saxophone player and founding member of the renowned Muscle Shoals Horns, Mr. Ronnie Eades. Ronnie has an extensive recording history and is heard on over 400 hit records from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. You could say his playing is the soundtrack of all of our lives. This music partnership led me to my producer, Mr. Andreas Werner of Crazy Chester Records in Nashville, TN, and has ultimately resulted in the creation and recording of my first original album.

Thanks to my family for their unending love and support, Yancy, Jaye, Kristi, Brett, Isadore William, James "Buddy, Jr.", Isadore and Lorraine, and to my fiance', Mindee. Also thanks to my musical family, Andreas Werner, my producer; Joe Funderburk and Jimmy Nutt, the engineers; Jamie Blair, photographer; Rachel Werner, artwork designer; musicians and background singers, special friends like Heidi Heindel, Ronnie Eades, and Torry Boudreaux; Band Wagon Fest Committee; the Go Fund Me Supporters; my hometown of Plaquemine, and all who helped me along the way, who are too many to name.  "Always be kind",  Jacye
